Process Engineering
Technician
Responsibilities:
- This is a non-exempt
battery process engineering technician position, working within a dynamic
team under supervision of Sr. technical staff, to conduct process runs
following specified procedures to make rechargeable batteries.
- Daily responsibilities
include operating process equipment, wet chemical (slurry) coating of
electrode layer, and battery fabrication.
- Independently carry
out routine process runs, and assist senior technical staff to design
and assemble new processes.
- Maintain the work
area for safety, environmental soundness and productivity
- Follows rigorous
documentation practice and record all designs, experiments, results
in notebooks
Qualifications:
- BS. degree preferred in Chemical Engineering or
Mechanical Engineering major;
- 2+
years chemical processing work experience;
- Has broad knowledge
and capability in process equipment operation
and maintenance required;
- Experienced with
battery work environment,
such as glove box or dry-room, and battery electrode layer coating or
packaging is a plus;
- Possesses good work
ethics and excellent hands-on problem solving skills;
- Demonstrated ability
to work effectively and collaboratively in a team.
