R&D
Operations Associate
Responsibilities:
- The successful
candidate will be an integral part of a research and development (R&D)
operations in a hi-tech materials and battery R&D company. The
responsibilities include technical support of office operations, day-to-day
management of material procurement, materials inventory, and product cost analysis.
- Daily
responsibilities include supporting engineers and scientists in their
needs for materials, managing the supplier relationship, carrying out
purchases, scheduling and managing materials in its life cycle, conducting
cost analysis, supporting technical related office administration items.
- Responsible for
Materials management including on-time procurement of necessary materials
and services, inventory monitoring, establishing waste disposal procedures
etc. Be able to follow rigorous documentation practice.
- Conduct cost analysis
on materials and finished products.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required in industtrial engineering, chemistry, and
material science, or office administration, finance, supply chain management major with
science training in chemistry and materials.
- Minimum two years direct experience in
ssimilar roles in a science and materials R&D company
- Program management skill
is highly desirable. Knowledge in procurement logistics and cost
analysis is plus
- Strong communication and negotiation skiills,
likes working on a team and enjoys supporting engineers and scientists to help
them accomplish their goals.
